Lincoln logs creation π
Lincoln logs creation π
@prologic so, whatβs Lincoln logs? Is it a toy, or the product of someoneβs able craft?
@fastidious It's basically a set of wooden logs with grooves cut into them for consturcting interesting things. It's a bit like Lego of sorts, but in wood! π

@prologic Oh, cool! One day I'd love to build my own log cabin with full-size logs. :-)
@lyse Me too actually π

@prologic And d) starting a fire without a lighter and matches. No, the propane torch isn't allowed either.

@prologic There needs to be some irl Yarn event in the wild, during the Australian winter, so us European people don't melt, if we can somehow get there. π
@thecanine Australian winter... LOL. First joke of the year! π
@thecanine @fastidious Hahaha, yeah, the Aussie winter is fabulous! :-D And we soft Europeans really need it over there. Once the pandemic is "over" in two or three years (being optimistic) we could actually get there. Alternatively we might do the camp in the Snowy Mountains or even at Mount Kosciuszko. I've been up there at its summit in Aussie autumn and it was quite nice actually. @prologic As much as I really enjoy this idea, it's probably a rather big undertaking. Both logistically and moneywise. Each continent might do a camp separately, though.
@lyse Yeah it would be a lot of work and effort for sure π For now we can keep doing virtual ones π€£ (like we do already informally)
