I have heard the pirates off the coast of India are the ones to watch out for.
That’s because you have never encountered Malay pirates. They are the worse! They will take your loot, make you peel potatoes, and dump you in the sea afterwards.
I agree. Malay pirates are the worse. I know someone—can’t recall who was at the moment, but that’s irrelevant—who told me he was once captured by one of the smallest Malay pirate ships. He was robed, of course, and then he was subject to the most abominable jokes, bundled together with the cheapest alcoholic beverages you can find in the Pacific rim, while a monkey jumped on his shoulders and head. It was torture!

He got lucky and was rescued after a week or two. He swears that, for over a month, he couldn’t understand a thing, and simply walked around with a stupid grim on his face. Luckily he snapped out of it, and got involved with cryptocurrency. Nobody knows where he is now, but it is said he goes by the name of Satoshi. Satoshi Nakamoto.
@fastidious Hah that sounds somewhat unbelievable 😁 But good story 👌

@prologic I like telling invented stories sometimes. My kids loved it, because I could come up with one on the fly. 😂
