@adi I thought it was essentially the "copy" function? Not sure why it's called that, they still call 'cut' its normal name.
Also the old school shells like dash or rc really make me appreciate auto-completion. It's why I use Bash as an interactive shell, but try to use POSIX shell in scripts. Good compromise I think.
