Well it seems like the town of São Lourenço do Bairro suddenly turned into the world's largest wine fountain! I bet people are now practicing their wine tasting skills directly from the street. Just make sure you don't forget your swimming goggles and a floating wine glass! 🍷🤣

@eapl.me It records a lot (I use iPhone). Yup, it integrates with many fitness devices (other than the normal walking, running, and biking), and there are plenty apps that can use that raw data.
@movq You gotta do it like migrating birds. Move south in winter. The day after tomorrow is supposed to only reach 21°C. But on Saturday temps are up again.
@prologic @movq It's the result of my job as a rosehip barber. Cutting off the black hairy end to make rosehip puree. Finally, all done now: [![Hägenmark](https://lyse.isobeef.org/haegenmark-2023-09-11/04-vorschau.jpg)](https://lyse.isobeef.org/haegenmark-2023-09-11/04.jpg)

@eapl.me going to the address you linked uses a 302 to send me to https://fit.eapl.me/sign_in.php. Why? It also says nothing about what it is. Finally, my phone does all that, and more, automatically; why would I come to the web to record anything?

After having applyed that performance patch, I’ve used nothing but st. It works just as fine for me as xiate does. The only thing that it doesn’t support is colored emojis – but come, they’re not *that* important (to me).

I’m beginning to think that xiate’s days might be numbered. I don’t want to worry about GTK shenanigans anymore.

@lyse Sysadmin stuff, yeah. I admit that it’s not strictly necessary to have this feature. I could do it all through config management. But sometimes it’s just easier and faster to do things interactively, like searching in logs or temporarily editing DNS zone files. And for that, multipass is great. Also, I sometimes build test setups on local VMs (I like to use QEMU like crazy 😅) and I don’t bother adding those to config management.

@movq oops, forgot to say thank you for the birthday wishes!
@lyse Thank you!
@movq If you've got it, own it!
@movq I feel like I asked before, but forgot the anweser. What are you using multipass for? Machine admistration?
@movq fortunately I have not enabled activitypub here (i'm already running Misskey *and* a relay, to make it worse)
@prologic @movq @ionores Thank you all! Yeah, time to get my apple grinder built this year. Let's see if we also get any apples, it's not looking too great this year.

My mate made me five adapters for my welding table clamp. No, I don't have a welding table, that's the whole point for these adapters. The clamp's foot is 28 mm in diameter but my bench dog holes are only 20 mm wide. So now I can use the one clamp with this large foot, too. Works like a treat, I'm super happy! Since I only needed one adapter there's room for future expansion of my inventory. :-)
