@antonio No not yet, this is another example that is exhibiting this bug. I have a unit test that shows the failure, just trying to work out what the problem is, then I'll put up a PR :D
@prologic @antonio is it because the conversation Hash has a digit in it and somehow I’ll regex is wrong?! 😳 I didn’t notice this until now😂
@antonio we really got a fix that bug somehow I’m not even sure what’s causing it but when I finish with some of the other work I’m doing I’ll get back to fixing that bug this conversation got fucked again!
@dooven @antonio oh that would be really nice especially if it was automated based on the phones light and dark mode system settings
@antonio I think the only thing we’re missing now from Goryon that I miss is the conversations view 😀
@lukem Do share how that goes! I'm always curious about how the GDPR works, we Aussies here almost have little to no rights when it comes to such things ourselves, I mean we can complain to the ACC and various watchdogs, but we live in a "Nanny" state and we passed stupid shit like TIA Act of 2015_Amendment_(Data_Retention)_Act_2015)._
@lukem Thank you for writing this! I read all of it! I _think_ secretly I just wanted you to write a piece like this because the issues raised above and by Richard Stallman are very so important! When you originally posted about the RMS Agenda, I was (_to be honest_) a little worried it was something else, something more sinister (_I guess I've become mistrusting of others as I get older..._). But no, this was very well written and received, the RMS Agenda that Richard Stallman started all those years ago (_I guess the year I was born?!_) is as strong and alive!
@off_grid_living it’ll be good to see that same photo when the trees are all grown up 😁
@lukem Thanks! Having a read 🧐
@lukem oh wow! That’s a bit weird 😳
Rusty Dog! 🐶📷
@lukem To be honest I don’t really follow him all that much! I believe and contribute a lot to open source myself as you know, but can you characterize your summary of what you believe his stance to be?
@lukem Somehow I don’t think this search is bringing up the correct results 😳
@lukem RMS Agenda? Can’t say I have to be honest...
Twilight the cat! 😸📷
@cvshumake haha at me or to me? 😄 Do you have Signal?
Hello! 👋 Welcome to Twtxt 😎
@hellson So the secret is to give up my back-breaking, hunched over back, eye burning day job and do say umm I dunno brick laying (_I could probably do that!_), or gardening (_I could probably do that too!_) 🤣 One day, maybe, when I retire!
@lukem it’s kind of a cool story though isn’t it?
@lukem oh wow is that for real?! 😄
@felixp7 That’s really terrible of Cloudflare! Shams on them 😳
Twtxt.net looks great on an iPhone 11 Pro Max 😎
@dooven Wow! Same location right just different season? looks very pretty 😁
@dooven I see 😳 One of those managers 😂
Why does one always feel like total crap after doing physical labor? 😳
@ionores this looks like a photo of a really rainy night looking out a window on a staircase? 😳
@ionores yes I am! She was a very wonderful woman 😎
@lyxal oooh sheds this? Very pretty sunset! 😎
@felixp7 can you give an example? I’ve been writing in Go for some three or four years now and I can’t say I really come across any significant limitations that either annoyed or frustrated me.
@felixp7 however I do agree with you that any language can be used in a sane readable and clean way, unfortunately there are almost too many instances of people just going absolutely crazy and doing things that are so ghastly complicated and unnecessary 😢
@felixp7 agreed on your second part! Personally I can’t stand C++, C#, Java or other similarly very complex languages but that’s just my own personal taste 😁
@felixp7 and this is why I don’t write in C 🤣 Nice article thanks for sharing!
@lukem don’t worry global warming will remove that puddle soon! 😂
@ionores oh damn baked potatoes and beer on my two favorite things! 😁 My wife makes the best baked potatoes in the world 😎
@antonio well I just finished moving a ton of dirt and river rock/stones from one side of our property to the other side and into my wife’s final garden bed so I’m beat
@slashdot Notice of look into these awesome browser extensions for even further enhanced privacy
@reednj Hi there! hi there!👋 I kind of lost contacts, what were we talking about? 😁 also what client do you use?
@hellson yes well completing things is always good! 😁
@slashdot how does barring an app from a particular regions App Store or play store have any effect on any users that already have said app?! That’s right it doesn’t! 😳
@lukem Wow looks like a bomb hit the place, it looks so dead!
@dooven ahahaha 🤣 welcome to the club 😎 a better response of course would have been “oh that’s broken, we’ll fix that”, even better if the boss just fixes it! 😂
@slashdot and here I thought they were no consequences in the corporate world for completely effing up! Now we just have to extend this notion to the political world 😁
@lukem thanks! That sounds really nice and useful I’ll check it out 🤞
@razetime @kt84 But caused by turning on an old Television Set? I mean seriously? The old cathode ray tubes weren't that bad were they? And they are receivers, not transmitters 🤷♂️
@lukem Yeah it is pretty similar. And I agree, it doesn't cover 100% of cases. What browser extensions do you use/recommend here?
@lukem To be fair I run AdGuardHome in my home network which becomes the primary DNS resolvers for all clients (*wired and wireless*) in my home (_except the servers in my server room_), so I must have had Ad blocking turned off at the time 🤣 (_not sure I would have normally seen any ads at all!_)
@lukem More to the _point_ though, how/why did this come up in the first place? Who's selling data to who to serve me such an ad given recent events?! 😂 It's disgusting! 🤣
@lukem \n\n> Actually, is it possible to post long blog posts via Twt API?\n\nI _think_ we haven't added the API endpoints for this yet. Very easy to add though 😀
@kt84 Hmm I read the article and I'm a bit puzzled myself. That TV set in the linked photos looked _really really_ super old! I'm not really sure to be honest 🤣
@ionores (#vwfboka) Yeah I have to say I _quite_ like it actually. Using the same underlying encryption protocols gives me even more confidence in the Signal protocol and ratcheting. It's nice. I'm split minded though about Tor and anonymous traffic (_even here in Oz our silly Govt think its useful to them to track what websites we visit via DNS_), I _think_ it comes to down a reasonable level of convenience without sacrificing too much privacy. Signal does that for me and my family/friends today. But session does look nice!
I recently interviewed at ServiceNow (_first round_) a few days ago, and its a nice big! Interview went well with the new hiring manager here in Oz trying to set up a new team to build out their service offerings to the "regulated markets" (_think government agencies, etc_).\n\nHowever, here's what I found in on the "right panel" in on LinkedIn today:
-- Boi do ads suck! 😳
@felixp7 interesting story there even if partially fictional! 😁
@antonio @lukem so isn’t micropub a bit more of a publishing set of protocols and APIs? How does this help with cross posting? To be honest I haven’t really looked into it all that deeply yet
Here’s a thought experiment… If you had 100 users on a service how much traffic without generate? If you had 10,000 users how much traffic with that generate what about 1 million users?
@ionores Cool so session is Signal + Tor more or less?
Yeah the diversity is a big PIYA 😁
@hjertnes There is only one messaging app I trust (_right now_) Signal -- Any chance you get push her in this direction? 😀
@lukem @dilbert you mean like claiming you have xM users in a marketing material but really that really should have said cM sessions served since yDays?! 🤣
@johanbove I agree 😁 My favorite command-line search tool which is incredibly fast is sift 😎
Baby chino at Cafe Bliss ☕️👧🏼📷
@lukem virtual event or physically somewhere?
@lyxal Do it moar! Its actually a really nice photo! I love it! 😎
@lyxal Yeah I did for 3.5yrs 😁
@lukem yeah you’re probably right
@slashdot oh well if this US new law passes America will just now be added to my bad list of countries never to ever visit 🤷♂️
@vgn @dooven ahh very nice! Looks like my MacBook when I worked at FB! 😁
@vgn yeah it’s difficult to get good bandwidth here as a consumer
@lukem it’s still an odd thing to do though right? 😁
@lukem I know 😁 Been there myself 😂
@slashdot Oh now that's very interesting to see and read about. I had absolutely no idea that Twitter™ went so far as to also modify what photos you see?! 😱 Who _really_ wants this anyway? I for one am glad we don't and will never do this kind of this here on Twtxt.net 🤗
@docker_blog no the doctor hub is extremely excruciatingly slow it is not suitable to be used as CI/CD
@lukem really that’s all it takes?! Your package management central service goes down and you stop working?! 🤣😂
