@bender Haha ! 😝 I mean we'll squish any bugs that are reasy enough to fix right? 😅

Woot! Yup, fixed! Baby steps, squashing one bug at a time.
I _thuink_ that's sorted out then. Pulled in the latest deps, repro'd locally, bug gone. So twtxt.net will roll out shortly with the new version in a few mins 👌

Very cool! Interestingly using your web app, the result was a higher bitrate than when I downloaded the best audio only option in yt-dlp (258 kbit/s vs 140 kbit/s).
Don't quite understand that but nice work 😅

@bmallred Oh my goodness, what an experience! I'm glad you were not hit and I hope they got them in the end.
@bender Oh this sounds really cool! :-) I never caught them, only watched 'em. But I have to admit that I wanted to catch them barehanded this week. Didn't try, though.
I just returned from another trip into the forest. This time, I went deeper, there was some beautiful firefly activity. When I checked on yesterday's spot on the way home there was barely anything. But I saw some presumably females sitting on the leaves in the shrubs. I didn't notice a single one yesterday. Their illuminated parts were really huge compared to the flying males. The biggest was the size of a small finger's nail (contrast that with a tiny shining dot of maybe 2-4mm max). I could even see the three distinct sections being lit up. That must have been a common glow-worm (großes Johanniswürmchen), I'd say: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:Lampyris_noctiluca.jpg The others might also just have been the smaller species. I don't know.
There were also some toads on the paths. A very lovely evening stroll. I'm very happy now. The dayjob's stress is completely forgotten.
I really do enjoy that I am in the woods in about 10-15 minutes afoot. The most dangerous animals here are ticks and then come the boars. And that's really it. Well, mozzies might be in the list, too. Some adventive ones can carry diseases, luckily, I haven't encountered them here yet. Today, a bunch of gnats wanted to eat me. Yesterday, I had my peace, though.

This was built over a day or so as a tool so i didn't have to keep helping my neighbor with fixing a Bash script I wrote 🤣 It was also an excuse to try Beer CSS and htmx for real in anger on a fresh new project 👌 The result has turned out quite nicely! 😍

@bmallred overall this was pretty good and the run-walk intervals kept my heart rate low.
at around 0400 a car came racing (90-100 mph) down gulf blvd towards my direction. it turned its headlights off and actually lost traction at point and skidded a bit. okay, kids. then a bit later i hear the car coming back behind me... so i got as far to the right as i could in case the car skids again. as it passed me i looked over my shoulder and saw a police vehicle a bit back w/o lights on yet. then looking in front another cop and then they blocked the lanes to get the driver to stop. driver decided he wasn't stopping and tried to swerve around the police and ended up ping-ponging between sides of the road. enough of that...
took a wrong turn after going over the first bridge, but luckily it went in a loop. didn't really know exactly where i was going anyways and was just winging it from the get-go.
the rest of the run was pretty uneventful and just a fun experience. crazy idea accomplished.
