@thecanine @novaburst There's talk about getting @mearaj to bring it back up to scratch and finally publish new versions of it.. @carsten Btw, to simplify "infrastructure" costs and maintenance, you _could_ consider either just an "in-memory" session store (using a map) or using my Bitcask library.

@tkanos's comments are all good points. I actually think the code is actually pretty good really. One thing you can also do to enhance deployment(s) is the use of the embed package to embed the static assets and templates. Freel free to borrow/slash/steal code from yarnd πŸ˜…

@retrocrash I would, how about this weekend? I ran into some technical problems that need solving, but I'm sure uw two knuckle-heads can solve them πŸ˜… I _think_ it would be cool to get box to a point where you could run "production workloads" on it. Yes it is "Docker-like (or inspired I guess) -- But actually it's more derived from my own research into how Containers works at a low-level and my original implementation in POSIX Sh -- also called box.sh that used unshare and chroot.

@retrocrash Yeah that would be cool! I'd love to hear your experiences πŸ˜…

One day I really would like to evolve box a bit more πŸ˜‚ I mean when it comes down to it (for me) this whole "Container" hype really comes down to two things for me:

- Packaging convenience
- Some kind of resource isolution, security, etc

The later of which is kind of subjective I guess πŸ˜…

> i can remember the 20-30 chars in a passphrase quicker and longer than a 8-10 random

My fingers tend to remember my master password. I then just use a password manager entirely.

The funny thing about this is that my brain doesn't actually know my own password all that well (as it's incredibly long), but my fingers sure do πŸ˜‚

@xuu I have to admit, I wasn't overly that impressed either. Frankly I'm not even that impressed with GPT-3. I _think_ there's quite a lot of "Hype" over the latest innovations in AI and Machine Learning, but I'm not actually convinced we're even anywhere near a point where we can truly call it "Intelligence". Very good at pattern matching yes, very good at filling in the blanks yes, able to piece things together, sure.

But Intelligent? Conscience? Self aware? I don't think so.

Mostly because k8s (Kubernetes) is an over engineering piece of shit πŸ˜‚ All these other "distributions" ofKubernetess like microk8s for example that I'm working on in my day job. Got it to finally "cluster up" and boom! πŸ’£ it now crash loops and is totally fucked 🀬

My arse 🀣 -- And now I have to spend my day figuring out why the hell I seem to have a missing binary:

fork/exec /usr/libexec/kubernetes/kubelet-plugins/volume/exec/nodeagent~uds/uds: no such file or directory, output

But if you Google that you'll end up https://github.com/projectcalico/calico/issues/5356 which seems a bit unrelated since I don't even have that binary on disk at that path πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ So much for Ubuntu Snap(s) πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
