I know we tend to be drawn the fireworks display, but I wish we had more laser and electric lights, and less of air polluting stuff.

When Lunar new year comes around—yes, my family celebrates new year twice—it will get even messier here. 😬
@fastidious In fact I find these fireworks very boring, too. Not to speak of the environmental damage they do. People literally burn money, which I don't understand at all. Not the tiniest bit. So, roughly a month to go before the Lunar New Year hits if I'm not mistaken?
@fastidious Regarding more laser shows, well, LEDs, I just came across this: https://youtu.be/n9tu-L59YqQ
Wow, that video was amazing, @lyse, thank you for sharing! Leave it to huge China to come up with huge things. That was a spectacle to see! Can you imagine how will it look if one could be airborne right there, at the same time the show is going? 😍
@fastidious Hehe, and then crash the helicopter into the drone display? ]:-> The thing with these drone shows is that it only looks good from certain angles. However, the display can also rotate, as indicated a few times in the video.
