Well... It depends on many many things. For me it always has been a secondary desktop 🖥 (behind MacOS and Win), buuuut I use Linux (and BSD for Hobbie projects) in VPS, WSL, mobile and embedded devices, so... 🤔

@eaplmx right, but the topic at hand is about Linux on the desktop. As a server it has to be number one now, considering all major cloud providers run on some kind of Linux derivative.

I am surprised not to see North Korea on that list—even if an old one—as North Koreans embraced Linux early on (since 1998).

Alternative Desktops (from Win, to the always second Mac) has been a long discussion for years. That's why I'm asking for the current data.

Is perhaps taking 0.1% a year? No idea!
