@chunkimo thank you! Very pleased with it. I finally have vacation, got up early, took our dog for a long walk this morning, so now I can code a bit. I'll complete the status entry gui today, so that I can post statuses, after that I need to add a tomer for refreshing timeline, and then some way to store some settings.

I find it really frustrating that governments continue to behave as if they are above the law. And change and create new laws to suit their agenda of the day.
Why is the Australian government allowed to continue to prospect a whistleblower; where we have laws to protect whistleblowers (since 2013); then just as David McBride is fronting up to court to protect himself from the Australian government, they disallow him access to his own key witnesses and evidence in the name of national security?! 😳 (another set of made up laws that have dangerous fat reaching consequences for all) 😱🤦♂️

@chunkimo That's right. Imagine linking to a malicious image. but even more simply imagine linking to a multi-gigabyte image. Now users who are bandwidth constrained have to download it and this chews their traffic quota and costs money 😆

Oh no, @carsten! Sorry to hear that. :-(
Achievement unlocked, grats, @jlj! I have to admit I first thought that this was shopped. Very good question, @movq. As a real brit jlj now has to serve in the military. This looks like being welcomed by some general. Yeah, I have absolutely no clue. ;-) Looking forward to the resolution.
@movq Yeah. :-D But I managed to survive the workday.
@jlj Congrats, but, uhm, how does this work? Who’s the guy on the left? Do they hold a little ceremony like that for everyone who gets citizenship?! 😳

We had a blackout this afternoon for half, three quarters of an hour. Shortly after the fire brigade responded. I thought maybe the new kindergarden construction has caused something.
When I later went on my hike I saw that there was heavy machinery clearing the local scout site's surrounding wood lands. Both a harvester and forwarder were very busy. A few hundred meters further, a bunch of power company vehicles were parked. I could see 4WD cherry picker tire tracks in the grass leading to the clearing. So I reckon they threw a tree in the overhead power lines.
Fourth last tree getting cut down
The scout site is looking really terrible now. Very sad to see all these trees cut down. :-( I witnessed the killing of the last few trees there. Still have to edit all the video clips.
In the summer holidays that site hosts a forest recreation week where kids can build huts in the forest. Well, this time, there is no forest anymore. The sun will unbearably beat down. No shade in sight. Experiencing this today, I'm happy to be not part of this cool event anymore. Keeping my good memories.
I guess this is something that you guys might enjoy as well: Jonna Enckell’s solo work. It’s a bit hard to find, though, and you can’t really buy it … Apparently, she didn’t make it big time. ☹️ (Jonna was the singer of a Death Metal band once, it was a glorious combination.) // Siren On - Glitter and Die // https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jkk6386SJwI #NowPlaying

@prologic naja. How can I create a blog entry from my smartphone?
@lyse No No. Unfortunately not. We visited my wife's family and had to attend a funeral.
Question: I am now trying audiobookshelf as a self-hosted solution for audio books and my audible archive. It also supports Podcasts. Which software can you recommend to download podcasts via Docker Container? Thanks
[47°09′59″S, 126°43′48″W] Dosimeter still failing
@prx @prologic I'm slowly working on a rewrite of tt, that does not require a bunch of monkey patched libraries. Everything will be better. At least once finished. Whenvever that will be.
This night I dreamed that I will call it a day in a few minutes and then my alarm clock rang. That's when the nightmare practically started when I woke up.

Quick loop testing out the knee: 4.48 miles, 00:10:16 average pace, 00:45:56 duration
Just did a quick easy run to test how the knee was feeling today. Did the backwards walking up the overpass which I realize I do not walk in a straight line in reverse without peeking. It did relieve some pressure on the knee which was welcome. Overall the knee was a bit tight but no crazy pain. Still going to baby it for a bit though.

@prx I'm not sure I understand what you mean there, are you saying that :softwrap doesn't work on vim when the text is colored?

@prologic We really need to make the UX no this better. Perhaps alert the author that their images won't be shown and why?
@chunkimo Probably lxml is still the best from memory. I don't do Python since some years now so my recommendation could be out of date.
