@prologic careful there, especially with that “whatever” 😂. There is no way you can run all that on a "10 milliCores of CPU + 64MB of Memory”. It will take more than that, and it will cost more than $0.50 USD per month.

Would anyone pay for like cheap hosting if it only cost you say ~$0.50 USD per month for a basic space to run your website, twtxt feed, yarn pod, whatever? 🤔 Of course we're talking slices of a server here in terms of memory and cpu, so this would be 10 milliCores of CPU + 64MB of Memory, more than enough to run quite a bit of shit™ 🤣 (_especially when you don't need to run or manage a full OS_)~

Got contacted on instagram from someone who wanted to buy some of my images (NFT), I have been putting the images I liked the most into a collection (and add new ones when I take Images I think is good enough) into the collection. Just letting it sit there to see if I can make a sale one day.
Not sure yet if the person is serious or not - but If I could make a sale - then I'm all for it.
It's much easier to put things up for sale as NFT then other ways.
I sell them as a 1 item thing. And put a price that I think is fair (Fixed price on all, but based on the amount of time I actually spend getting to all these locations).
One thing I have not liked about NFT is all the crap art stuff that there that takes 0 effort, but I do at least spend time picking out where we go. And each image has a memory attached to it, a trip with my family to that exact place..

@prologic Yeah, I got some cash that I will put aside for a rainy day. I initially wanted to buy a kickbike for the dog with that, but he should not be pulling too much until next year's fall, so I decided not to buy that now.
I'll put the money aside for next year.
Other then that I got a new harness for me that I use for the dog, we've had one but this one is more solid and fits better to my size. That is super useful - and will last for many many years.
Also got a new hiking jacket, cotton jacket, green, outdoor type jacket, that is also something I really wanted, since I do not like those synthetic jackets (sweat too much in that). Also got some chocolate from my kids (Which I love). So I'm very pleased with the gifts :)
Think about Ismail, the City at the river Donau or Danuvia. You can help the Ukrainians to ship their weet and defend them from russian terror..
Its possible, if you are a refugee. But be sure, you will meet your enemies here to.

@movq @mckinley I believe the resurgence in availability of municipal WiFi is largely driven by the surveillance capabilities it offers. Every person who has WiFi enabled on their phone can be tracked throughout the city as their phones ping various base stations; a lot of folks aren't aware of just how much information can be slurped out of a phone that isn't locked down just from its WiFi pings. I know this happens in Toronto, and I was familiar with a startup in Massachusetts that based its business model on this very concept. I can only assume it's widespread in the US if not throughout the Western world.
@mckinley Now that’s a crazy story. 😳😂
Can’t say I’ve seen something similar here in Germany. Then again, WiFi in hotels or elsewhere has always been so ridiculously expensive that I maybe used such a service once in my life, and that’s it. Didn’t even bother trying, so no idea which SSIDs were out there …
