hm, I kinda want to buy a cheap imac and put nixos on it. I saw someone on twitter that did that with a 2011 imac, I then checked the prices on those - and they are really cheap. Would be a nice pc to have. I have to think a bit about it, but I like the idea.

St Petersburg Distance Classic Marathon: 26.41 miles, 00:11:23 average pace, 05:00:39 duration
first marathon. everything that could go wrong did. honestly i am just proud i did not quit. now i have to look at the run and figure out what i can tweak or add to my training.

had a cramp start in my right quad at around mile 15. then around mile 18 both of my calves started to feel odd like someone was lightly strumming my tendons. then they seized. this continued for the remainder of the marathon where i would walk then try to run and then stop when i had to. then during the entirety of the race my nose would not stop dripping making it difficult to breathe. ha, also my shorts almost came down twice and i had to retie them while carrying my handheld water in my teeth. seriously, so many things i did not expect and had not happened in any previous runs.

really happy to be able to eat spicy food and have some alcoholic beverages again though!

I discovered a privacy (_tracking/analytics_) problem in Ollama Web UI which I filed a bug report for in #687 today. 👌 -- The author (_or at least that's who I think was responding_) was really quick and good and helped me narrow down where this was coming from, a library from Unstructured IO here -- Which if you look carefully you note:

def scarf_analytics():
...

Oh dear god 😱 Anyway, the author is proposing a fix (_effectively enabling a DO_NOT_TRACK=1 type fis_) and we'll see. The point here is that a) the author was really great at responding to this and b) LittleSnitch was the tool that helped discover this in the first place (_I've found and blocked other things in the past too!_)._

Much more realistic. Most stuff lies dormant most of the time. 😅

Which is a good thing in my book. I think there’s something wrong if software needs constant tinkering.

The country music vamp n' talk is a nice format. A stolen-from-the-blues-thing? I like the vibe of someone pouring out their heart into the mic in plain speech while their friends pour their hearts into their instruments gently in the background.

@xuu Most of them, yes. That’s the code I host on my website. dwm-vain, tabbed-vain and qsqs are forks, though, hence dwm-vain appears to be much older. (I only started using dwm in 2012.)

I didn’t use version control systems in the distant past, but nobody wants to see that old stuff anyway. 😅
