@movq Sadly, you're right. The impacts are getting closer, adding two hours today. Yes, I'm speaking of the RSS feeds.

@lyse Same here. I’m not surprised – actually, I am surprised that the RSS feature still exists. 🤔 Or were you talking about other kinds of feeds?

@lyse Nice, it’s getting green again. And a nice fire-y sunset. :-)
I went on a quick walk as well. Lots of birds chirping. Can’t be long anymore until the mallards start to hatch. :-)

17°C today and I finally managed to go on a hike again. My thighs are a little bit sore. Sun didn't cooperate too well with my camera, but the sunset was all the more beautiful for it.

It's always impressive to see that every now and then YouTube manages to break all feeds for several hours straight. 404s for hours on end. My hourly cronjob failed three times this morning. You'd think at least one test would fail in their CI/CD pipeline to prevent that.

It is an IPO. :-D I find more value in Reddit than Facebook. Granted, Meta is more than Facebook now a days. I am not buying any, but I wish them (Reddit Inc.), and their investors, well.

@bender These are not beinged pull via ActivityPub. I disabled the integration long ago myself on my pod. There is a Mastodon instance or two out there that serves up Twtxt feeds. Someone my pod has subscribed to those, I think that's what's happening here...

@prologic I don't know what the fix will be. Ideally, since it doesn't work for bidirectional communication, get rid of the Fediverse integration? Would that stop those posts from showing up?

@mckinley you can't even block/mute them. For those, like me, that use the "Discover" to see what's up, that is a little bit problematic. I live with it, though. :-)

@prologic meh, in my opinion you don't buy into a Lexus because of it's superb craftsmanship, engine, and technologies, as engines have been pretty rock solid in other car manufacturers (Kias, Hundais, etc.) for decades now. There is no reason to pick a Lexus specifically over a Kia, both running with engines that burn fossil fuel, as a way of transportation.
LOL. :-D
@osnews _meh_ in my opinion you don't buy into the things that TrueNAS deploys, namely ZFS because of BSD. ZOL or ZFS on Linux is and has been pretty rock solid for decades now. There's no reason for BSD specifically over Linux for a highly available and fault tolerant file system at TB or PB scale.

good run with no pain. legs were still a bit sore but not a big deal. i think i was going a bit too fast and needed to slow it down by about 30 seconds, but the body didn't seem like it was pushing too much either.
