@prologic that will not be a problem; as long as it doesn't affect authenticated users it wouldn't make a difference. But we are comparing apples and eggs here. I don't access GitHub while unauthenticated, but I can see how others might. It comes across as anti-web in general.

@bender Basically the way I'm reading this is 1 RPM. This is a rather aggressive rate limit actually. This basically makes Github inaccessible and useless for basically anything unless you're logged in. You can basically kiss "pursuing" casually, anonymously goodbye.
Imagine if I imposed that kind of rate limit on twtxt.net?! 🤣

Ontem RAP tentou fazer uma piada sobre isso e Rocha respondeu a sério, a dizer que ele se disponibilizou a falar com eles mas depois e longe das câmaras, e que considera protestos anti-democráticos.
Mas podia ter falado com eles antes? Podia. E falou? Não. Mas afinal que querem estes jovens?
"Fim ao Fóssil até 2030", há grupos disto pelas várias escolas secundárias do país. São jovens, ainda não com idade para votar, que consideram o seu futuro em risco pela inacção dos governantes. Têm um discurso bem articulado: exigem que os partidos que queiram formar Governo tenham um plano para garantir o fim dos Combustíveis Fósseis até 2030, “nos prazos da ciência, através de uma transição energética justa que não prejudique quem não causou a crise climática”. Só nesta frase se mostram mais atentos e realistas do que o quecse consegue ler em qualquer um dos programas eleitorais. Os protestos têm o objectivo alertar “para o futuro a que os Governos nos estão a condenar”, o que não está a funcionar muito bem.
Dizem que “são jovens estudantes, mas não têm um futuro, uma vez que este sistema com as suas constantes crises e guerras falhou à sua geração e os está a condenar ao colapso climático”.

That should minimise the need for muting all those awkward feeds, I figure. :-D Sounds good!
I'm also thinking of adding eye-off icon next to every Twt that, when clicked, hides that feed (tooltip: "Hide this feed"). This would work with the filters as a "temporary additive filter" to restrict/control the current view.
I'm thinking of bringing back filters (_this time not as a feature flag, just baked in_): New filters: Hide Feed, Hide Bots, Hide News, Media Only, No Replies, Local Only — toggle to trim noise & surface the Twts you care about.
