@jason To be honest I'm not actually really sure what extensions other clients actually implement, however the extensions were collaboratively and collectively designed by the developers and authors of Jenny, TT and Yarn and I believe Twtr is the latest client which now attempts to implement most of the extensions 👌

@jason Indeed, looking very nice over here 👌 On both Mobile (see other Twt) and Desktop 😍 Also (btw) you _could_ also do something about linking to your Website. Add something like this to your Twtxt feed at the top:

# link = CV https://prologic.shortcircuit.net.au/

@jason @movq I didn't mean to say "move it to Yarn.social's landing page". What I meant was to say expand the Manually section and write some "How To" guides on setting up other clients like Jenny, Twtr, etc. Clients we've collectively accepted as good modern Twtxt clients.

And no, I've never wanted to just promote the yarnd software here, rather the ecosystem at large, the specs, extensions we've built together, other clients folks have built, tools, etc.

That is what many of us call Yarn.social, Yarniverse, Twtxtiverse, whatever else we've come up with over the last few years. I love to see users, clients and pods continually grow over time 👌

@jason Yarn will always work with Twtxt -- That's the point. Yarn.social pods basically are fancy multi-user clients with a Web interface and API. They form a distributed network and are decebtwakised (obviously). And finally they are also accessible via a Mobile App called Goryon.@s

@jason Re discovery and registries (forking this)... Registries don't really work, even though I am fully aware they were part of the original Twtxt spec, they don't work in practise for a variety of reasons. So Yarn.social pods (running yarnd) never implemented them. Instead we tried to solve this problem in other ways, by extending the spec (See https://dev.twtxt.net) and building an ecosystem. To that end, to date, we _actually_ have a search engine and crawler (though it could use some love) that makes it possible to both search and discover new feeds. If you're curious, check out search.twtxt.net - It runs on modest hardware in my home-based infra (all self hosted, non-cloud).

Of course we can continue to improve things, that's for sure. Open to suggestions, improvements and contributions! I hope you've found our issue tracker and org 🤞 If not, https://git.mills.io/yarnsocial

@andreottica You must set a few configuration options (I do this via environment variables) like so:

services:
  yarn:
    image: prologic/yarnd:dev
    command: yarnd -d /data -s bitcask:///data/yarn.db
    environment:
      - BASE_URL=https://twtxt.net
      - OPEN_PROFILES=true
      - OPEN_REGISTRATIONS=true
      - ADMIN_USER=prologic
      - API_SIGNING_KEY=xxx
      - COOKIE_SECRET=xxx
      - MAGICLINK_SECRET=xxx
    volumes:
      - yarn:/data

@andreottica There are a couple of options.

1. Set environment variables or pass command-line flags.
2. Navigate to Settings -> Poderator Settings
