@justamoment I was browsing multiple sites yesterday and I found so many things I want to print now. Things to replace "ah this is just temporary but installed for 1 year already things". And some stands, an Smartphone amplifier for the bathroom, holders for various things that are attached with double-sided tape etc

Commented here, commented elsewhere, reinstalled an IRC client, setup new OpenPGP keys, added GPG Suite, did NOT update macOS yet, fixed a moment.js bug on my website, updated the profile, about and impressum page, added a git hook on the server to fill in the commit hash to a version.txt file which is read on server start which is then used to display a link to the latest commit, cleaned up 55 mails. NOW I AM READY FOR MY BED! 🛌😴

Friends: Yes, that is another problem. Every so often I fell really lonely when I talk about IRC, chats, alternative communication, matrix etc. Even colleagues at work look at me like I am an Alien. Especially when I say I do not use Facebook, WhatsApp or any google product (at least not on purpose)

@eaplmx The thing is, if you can afford to pay of a mortgage equal to your current rent is, then you should probably buy. The problem I see is, that all houses got soooo expensive, that paying off the mortgage takes longer that people live.

As the owner of the current one mentioned, he wanted to sell it we thought about it, but we saw that it went up from initially 450k (year 2019) to whopping 720k (year 2022). No way! It is insane! It went down a bit to 650k but still way tooo expensive for us.
THe standard mail merge from MS Word is not allowing attachments, send to CC and BCC, only does To. Does not put emails into DRAFT folder, sends them immediately. Mail Merge Addin solves this by letting you all kinds of things. Take a excel sheet full of names, and email addresses and file paths and it will put this all together into individual emails. If you want to send invitations for a meeting for example and attach the agenda, the official invitation document etc. Sometimes you just cannot upload the docs to a shared location. Corporate stuff you understand.

Been to a small Mexican restaurant in town yesterday. Unassuming from the outside and unusually decorated inside. Walls tiled and Mexican Halloween decorations. But you should not be deterred by this, because the food, the drinks were super tasty and the service friendly and courteous. We definitely have to go there another time. Even if three tapas cost 10 EUR. But that's how it is nowadays. Everything has become a bit more expensive

@movq I try to use dark all the time. Inhalte my corporate mache which forces dark theme on windows but enforces bright on all apps. It is terrible. Inhalte it. And they don’t change it because of corporate design bullshit.

@lyse In the atom feed I can see that the feed itself was updated on "2022-11-02T22:54:53-07:00" which is the same as the last notes post.
His RSS feed is also a bit outdated despite saying he will updated it. But maybe it would be better to get rid of it at all? I am not sure if mine works 100% correct. But should be.
I do like the XSLT Stylesheet though. I think I will implement something for my site as well.
