@ullarah I do run some automated stuff. I am grabbing a new wallpaper for every morning at 0600hrs so that I have something new to look at when the alarm goes off.
@screem am using mailbox.org for quite some time now, like 3 years or so. Happy with the service, speed and more. I do not really have emails encrypted as I store important stuff locally in other formats and delete them if not needed.

@jlj yarnd has a -t option to point to a theme dir. The original can just be cloned from the git repo or copied from a sub dir after you run yarnd (iirc)
@novaburst naja I have set it up as a test first and then later to give something back to the fediverse in hosting one to give people an alternative if they want to.
@ullarah @jlj you can also change it directly in the SVG file. There is the width and height and also the viewBox property. Try to match those. Maybe that helps. /haven't looked at yours though

I am really think to move from TiddlyWiki to WikiJS - a personal Knowledge Base is nice, but TiddlyWiki is ok, but, the way WikiJS looks, and the multiply editors make it a fascinating personal knowledge base system. What do you use?

No insta popcorn. We just have the corn seeds. A big pot, some oil, sugar, and then let it go. Butter is a good tip. Will try next time as we still have many seeds left.

Good Morning. A sunny day in The Hague is waiting for us.
So, we are done for today. The last two days were pretty busy. We had to clean up the whole kitchen because of some unwanted ☹ visitor that joined us with the flour we recently have bought. But now all kitchen cabinets are re-organized, cleaned and disinfected. I have only seen a few of the beast this morning. Hoping that IPA will kill them, so we can insert the drawers again. During the cleanup, we found many Tupperware boxes and stuff that we do not need. At least what I think. #She thinks a bit different about that. Maybe a flower bouquet will solve that 😁.
@screem @prologic on the other hand it is Putin who has built his reign of Yes-saying followers and is backed up by a lot Oligarchs. On the other hand, we buy Gas and other things from Russia that in return he uses against Europe to destabilize democracy. He is much more afraid of Democracy than anything else. He needs his system and no other. When Russian speaking people in other countries learn the benefits from living in democratic states, they will tell others. A lot of young Russian people are leaving their country. All the reasons for the war against are bullshit.
Good morning. Third day of #war in the #Ukraine. I feel bad and really sad about the situation. I really hope that’s this will end bad for the crazy Russian called Putin. And I really hope, Zelensky and a all the others will survive this fight of brothers and sisters. I hope the Russian people will go out and protest more and more. It is not easy for them too to do this.

@david we are good. After the first dose (Janssen) I was like a hero and had a lot of energy. Cleaned the whole garden and everything the day after. After the second dose (Corminaty) there was almost nothing. Just the normal things where you get hit with the needle. I can say for myself, that I am fine with all the vaccines I got in my life. But yes, people react different.

@jan6 have you ever seen any of your colleagues or family members doing this? I have not! And I am working in a shop with 10 people. They all use Google and just form sentences like "when was barack obama born" "where was the last outbreak of ebola in africa" or "who was playing that weird guy with the grey hair in that movie about cars driving from west to east" etc.
@jan6 Fully agree to this. I love DDG bangs and the ability to search somewhere else fast and easy. For the "normal non-tech-savvy people" Google is the *defacto standard* as it is the default engine in many programs. Even in Firefox and other browser or apps. Searx is a small and self-hosted solution, which many people don't even know. And for others, Facebook is the Internet.
That's not that much. I would love to buy an electric car, but it is very expensive here in the Netherlands. Even a small Opel Corsa-e with some minor extras is around 37000 Euros incl. taxes. And the next problem would be, even if we have like 20 charging boxes around the neighborhood, back in Germany the charging stations are very rare. Stupid Germans with their fax devices and petrol cars.

OMG! I should look more carefully at my docker-compose files. I had a type in "letsencrypt" writing it always "letsencrpyt". And I wonder why my container does not use the correct volumes and creates weird ones on its own.
@prologic I will have a look at this, but I don't know when I will be able to actually start working on it. But it sounds like a fun project to do.
@prologic wow thats a prett big thing, isn't it? But it is a start I guess. What I know so far from the TechStack is a bit of Docker, a bit of Golang and Git. Mithril I have looked at last week when you shared the link. That looks nice. And, did you just come up with this or is this something you already did in the past?
@david ok. didn't know that. When I do that, I paste the link and a couple hashtags and a short introduction text. When I need to search, I open the txtfile and search in there. Works so far as I have a bookmark in the bookmark bar. So it is cross browser and cross device :-)

And you're right when it comes to the services itself. Most of them just talk about them self. So I like it here with you not only talking about the service itself.
@prologic Yes it is. We all want to surround ourselves with interesting people, don't we? Sadly, not all of us get the chance to do that in the real world. You're tied to your family by blood, and while other people are your friends for a reason (meaning you should get on with them extremely well) that doesn't mean they'll have anything particularly exciting to say. And some of us want to be heard and read. That's why people write blogs in the first place, don't they?
