It is liking this: You invite someone to talk and you are waiting in front of the door of the room. When the other persons decides to talk to you you both the room (channel) and can talk via text, phone or video
Juhu, our coffee machine is working again. It decided yesterday to not react anymore when someone presses on the touch screen. With only two physical buttons this was really sad. But today it came back to live and accepted human touches again. Coooffeeeeeeee

@mckinley Sure. Valid points. For me it is the whole ecosystem that just works. I do most of stuff on an iPad and an iPhone. Because? It just works. Non of my iPhones in the past has ever let me down. I do appreciate a world where I can install any OS I want. But sometimes I just want something secure and safe that always works.
@david Big investment. But if you want that and have the money for it? Sure, why not, go for it! The iPhone 14 is also something I am looking forward to.

@david They definitively will. Just looking at the Apple benchmarks, it seems too good to be true. And I doubt that Apple is cheating here like Samsung does. But, for the true comparisons we have to wait for the benchmarks when the Mac Studio will be in customers hands around May (IIRC)

I am afraid that which that much power?, Adobe Products will not be optimized any more at all! Leaving the PC behind and making everyone super jealous that does not have an M1 Ultra. - One person is speaking about the fact, that you can deliver and hold your deadline. Maybe just plan a bit better :-)

With the Apple M1, the iPad Air becomes the lower cost powerhouse. Especially for gaming. 500 nits of brightness is excellent. Don't know how much the last one had, but 500 nits is nice. It also gets 5G which is a must these days. It would be weird if Apple would not have included it into the iPad Air.
Me just got an iPad 8, so there is no need to upgrade. The performance might be a massive step forward with integration of the Apple M1 chip. So, not only the iPad Pro has it, but also the iPad Air 2022 has the Apple M1 chip 
And here is a new iPad Air! Let's go! More performance

There is a new iPhone SE with a button fingerprint sensor and only a single camera. But this is the entry level, so that it is.
Now we get iPhone - that is something I am interested in. Two new finishes. Something Green and Alpine Green

@prologic That's true too. But I see it right now with my wife. She wants to create a simple website from scratch and wants to learn the things on her own. I told her couple times: look. It is not worth buying video courses where the guy tells you 10 hours on how to create a paragraph. The documentation is there with looots of examples. She is facing the same as I did when I asked for motivation. You need a project to learn not a course.
As I already have a big desktop, all I need is a replacement for the Laptop now. But a 27"iMac is not that bad. I guess we will find out today.

Learning programming is DIFFICULT

Fixed an error in my Lychee installation. There was something wrong with the volumes I was using. After recreating them, I can now upload images.

This is what Edge is showing to me right now: A page or script is accessing at least one of navigator.userAgent, navigator.appVersion, and navigator.platform. Starting in Chrome 101, the amount of information available in the User Agent string will be reduced.
