[M [03;04;04]: Easy run](https://staystrong.run/user/bmallred/activity/aeeefb8b-9e79-4a55-9b51-4040da20f707): 5.05 miles, 00:09:08 average pace, 00:46:08 duration
everything clicked today. kept a steady but mildly progressive pace whilst keeping the heart row in zone 2 for the most part. nothing felt strained and breathing was easy. this one was a great boost in confidence afterwards seeing the progress made in the training and very happy with it.

You intrigued me, @xuu. I have to read up on Fibonacci Heaps when I'm clear-headed. :-)
@movq This spider doesn't look too bad. I don't find eight legged creatures visually pleasing, not even close, but there are worse spiders than this one. Anyways, I'm glad that we're generally in a petting zoo here in Europe. :-)
Alles schon zu lang her.
@lyse There is no way I’m going to open that link. 😂

Hm, läuft zweimal. Dreimal ändert leider auch nix. :/ Da muss ich wohl nochmal im Detail gucken – wenn ich die Muße dafür finde. %)

@movq Chaos, unfortunately. At least I talked to another one of A and we will have an appointment together with B tomorrow morning. They invited. :-D
Lol, mail servers. :-D How many e-mails did you get?
@movq Some people seem to never have heard of commas in their written communication. ;-) My day was also very unproductive if I say so myself. A thousand sideshows. And it looks like that will continue tomorrow.

very cautious with my right knee and ITB. so took a bit to warm up to a good pace. felt like a lighter tempo overall which was the aim and very happy with the current level of fitness.

@lyse Bah. :( Are people sick over there or is this just chaos? 😂
I started work again today and did what I had planned: Moving all mails to a folder. Well, except I couldn’t. There were so many, the mail server refused to do it. 😂 So I moved them in small batches of 100 … Still better than reading them, though.

@movq I once saw a similar sized, harmless (as I was told after asking the locals) spider on the exterior wall. I reckon that's much worse, though: https://lyse.isobeef.org/tmp/redbackspider.jpg This one was hiding on the outdoor water tap. One guy was bitten by a red back spider as a child and said that was the worst pain he ever felt in all his fourty years or so. Vomited constantly, heavily hallucinated for one day and then it started to get better again.
There was a display shelf full of C64s in one of our computer science rooms in school.
Been rummaging through the basement and look what I found! The very last LS-120 diskette. 🥳
https://movq.de/v/0e60054c57
This was such a cool thing back then. It had the same physical size as a normal 3½" floppy disk but it could store 120 MB. 🤯
And the drive (I had an internal one) could read both types of disks as well, which, from my perspective, was a lot better than the ZIP drive. The ZIP drive was an additional, specialized drive only for those disks.
Sadly, I have neither drive anymore. Only some disks. The LS-120 one is marked as “defective” anyway. RIP. 🪦
Both were pushed out of the market by writable CDs soon after …

@eapl.me Oh, cool. 99.9% of the time, my music player just starts at the very top and then simply plays all files in my collection in an alphabetical order by artist, album by year and then all tracks. No randomization at all. But I remember wondering about the same back in the days: Hmm, the fifth $same_artist in a row. That's not random!@1
@movq Yeah, there was one particular where a neighboring team A wanted to talk to another team B to confirm something long before holiday season and apparently they didn't, because we all got an e-mail from B on how to proceed. They're blocked. For multiple weeks now. I reminded one of A yesterday and I was assured that they will handle it. But I haven't seen a reply from them today either. :-/ I might just answer myself tomorrow. Sigh.
This is really annoying. Especially because this is not the first time it goes like that. :-( So much time, energy and nerves wasted.
Apart from that major one, I saw a few decently interesting messages, not super important, but still good to know.

@prologic That works pretty well, this is what I needed. :) I like it so far, feels good to run it locally instead of on some online service.. pulled a couple of models (including the one for code). I'll check that one out next time I'm looking for a solution for something I'm stuck on.

When it comes to AI stuff - I like to run it myself, not use a service. I found this today - https://github.com/Mozilla-Ocho/llamafile
I'll give that a good try when I need it, instead of chatgpt and such services.
