Darch comes from my last Mørch which means dark in Danish but it spell mørk when. Is not a name. And since you can't use æøå I emails I just came up with sp_darch when I created my ver first Hotmail back the late 90s.
Pronounced: dark

Will the list be public or for each user to set up their own list?
I hope I have planted some seeds, so we will see if any pods starts to pop up
@fastidious ah gotcha. I have no idea. I have never coded anything i JS, besides some p5js sketches.

@fastidious I had similar ideas about timeline view with or without replies. A 3th option would be to be able to set filters on specific #tags. not something we use much yet, but if there was a UI to support it like in picoblog (e.g. http://darch.dk/twtxt/?tag=tag ) then i think it would be used more.
@prologic keep an eye on darch2 on yarn.algorave.dk and sorenpeter3 on darch.neocities.com
As e2e decentralised/federated alterative to signal
Yes I will make some live demo. 30 min talk/demo and then an hour for workshop
There is a password in the FB event. Look again
I believe most, if not all, the twitter profiles have some UserDescription
It would be nice to have that shown as well.
Alternativly twtxtfeeds could autofill # description =
with a comment that this feed it taken from twitter and generated by twtxtfeeds / feeds.twtxt.net
Not sure if we can find a way to fit in both.
Also what about # source = twitter://delta_chat
being a propper link to twitter: https://twitter.com/delta_chat
?
https://feeds.twtxt.net/twitter-delta_chat/twtxt.txt
Collapsable box is (was?) already a thing
the whole feeds of feeds needs some works
@fastidious you can join via zoom. Not sure about recording though...

@ullarah Nice I was about to suggest to center the icons above the text also. ( _I_ do love to work with CSS;)
@ullarah Really cool responsive menu you have made:) At this breakpoint we should only show the icons, so we avoid the linebreak.
Or at least links. Alternatively adding a list of links to your profile.
Yup seems like in does not load my CSS. Maybe if it called something else than yarn.min.css
@prologic Looks like an issue in your end. it works fine on my localhost and testpod...
I have been using keepass in various version for many years. Keep the database file in my Dropbox and there are clients for all OS
Also i would make the B bolder: e {
content: "\eb7b";
font-weight: 900;
}

Whell that wasn't that hard:
e {
content: "\\ec62";
text-decoration: line-through;
}

Rolling back to an earlier version just breaks a lot of other icons. And I can't find a way to replace it without some really ugly hacks (aka. a lot of work). So let's just keep the "tophat" for now.
I prefer the S
strikethroughed over the U
- maybe change to Light mode to see the image.
I will make a PR for using the S-strikethrough tonight.
Looks good to me. Except the strike-through icon looks like a dick...
@prologic I really don’t know what up with the footer. I tried to just use the same CSS and HTML code as the default theme.
I’m heading to work now myself...
+ darkmode:
do(#eyhxhoq) @prologic that is not an issue on my theme, which i believe it ready for the wild now:
@prologic so it is some caching/timing thing?
@prologic seem to work now. did you do anything to fix it besides sleeping on it?
@ullarah What is the issue? I have been converting my theme to use tabler-icons instead of openmoji tonight, which means I'm also very close at having a working dark/light mode.
@prologic it is the new one that is not getting the right avatar, not the old ones...
@prologic Hi, will you whitelist twitter's media server twimg.com
?
@ionores Thanks for the headsup. Try again now. NB: this pod is not mean to be use for everyday yarn'ing - it's my test pod
Update to my Copenhagen theme:
- Fixed hard coded links in header to be dynamic
- Add Mobile Styling, so it should work okay on smaller displays
(still stuff todo...)
But for sure I do t think it's that much work we need to fix the last issues in my theme. Just been a busy week. I hope to have sone time this weekend
@prologic yes you can see it in the screenshot I linked to and try it out for yourself by running the theme
Should we have some kind of kanban-board for all our odd ideas of new yarn features?
@thecanine I like the idea of some kind of toggle replies on/off just to try this feature out
@prologic it is, but I do the webfrontend for the library's digital platforms
@prologic yeah a lot of apartments in Copenhagen still uses gas for cooking.

Hey! I'm here and I consider myself a UI/UX developer 😬
I had similar ideas to make the timeline less messy by hiding reply-posts.
So let's try this idea. Maybe add the time ago for the latest reply.
Also I think this should be separate from the normal timeline. Something like "collapsed timeline". Or the old render should be called "timeline with replies"
yes everyone bikes in Copenhagen
Summer in Copenhagen
Fall in Copenhagen
@fastidious I use the mobile web version more than the app, but I have focus first on the Desktop in my work on my theme. Good thing I'm free to make my theme they way I see fit - and you yours:)
@prologic Maybe "patronizing" is not the right word. But I do think that "Yarn" is too much slag compared to "Conversation" that everyone can understand.
@prologic Sure I can write you a more specific TODO :)
@thecanine Well i know @jlj is/was running his pod of a Rapsberry Pi, so it not that heavy to run
@eldersnake well you you just go grab it B) any maybe fix the broken parts:P
@eldersnake well you you just go grab it 😎 and maybe fix the broken parts😉
@eldersnake well you just go grab it 😎 and maybe fix the broken parts😉
and "Yarn" used to be called Conversation. I have also change that back in my design to be less patronizing to newcomers
"Reply" will append to the ongoing conversation. "Fork" will make a new branch of the conversation. I have implemented a new way to render this, that I hope will make more sense in my Copenhagen-theme. This it how it looks on my test-pod
