Testing. The search result of #thishashtag will look chopped of on mobile web (haven’t checked it on desktop yet).
Nah, squirrel eyes are more on the side, and their ears shape is different. The cheeks are the ones that might give someone the idea it might be a squirrel. But when you have killed as many squirrels as I have, you know the difference.
@david, doing a small test to see if you can read this.
@prologic nah, we pay people to do that for us. LOL. In all honesty, I wouldn't know where to start, as I haven't deal with hardware for over 15 years. Once you have locked in the hardware, what are you using, software wise? Or are you speccing hardware that comes with its own software solution?
@prologic well, that leaves no space for further discussion. I tell my wife the same about food when she cooks: no matter how delicious the meal might be, if it doesn't pass the "eyes test" it is going to be hard to even try it. It happens with everything. I mean, often we pursue the good looking person, to later find it shallow, but we sure enjoy the good looking stage for bit! 😂
@prologic of course! "There is, unfortunately, a huge market demand for disinformation, \n and a lot of places across the ecosystem that are more than willing to fill that demand." If you can access, read this article from *The New York Times* titled "Disinformation for Hire, a Shadow Industry, Is Quietly Booming".

@eaplmx what would "Hispanic content" be? We need to start by defining that. If all you meant was having one in which Spanish speaking people congregates, then you are a suitable candidate to spin one up. 😂 Now, I have my reservations with that. I wouldn't want to peer, nor follow anyone from a Spanish speaking pod (and I know the language!). I am sure others will want it less.

For as much as some may hate it, English is, mostly, the language of the Internet. Maybe in a few years from now will be Mandarin, but I doubt it. The Chinese are learning English in mass.
Which will win, which? Dear lord, let me know which!

@jdtron pretty cool, and thank you! I am going to star it, and enable notification to keep up with its development.
@jdtron could you share a link to it? I am always curious to find and see what others are doing (clients, implementations, etc.).

@prologic having it do both both would be the safest, for cases like this. If I hit reply, then the nick where that reply button was hit should be a mention. If I simply click on the post box, without reply, then it is only the subject, without no specific mention. We can discuss about this later.
@fastidious I got this perfect. Now, I am not sure why do I have to explicitly mention you, since when I hit reply that should be happening behind the curtains, right @prologic? Anyway, let us see if you get this reply.
@fastidious I got it.
@fastidious just wanting to tell you that Homer got it.
Aha! Homer got it now.
And again, nope, this is not working. So, @prologic, WebMentions are not working between our two pods, when they should unless you are running a version with WebMentions disabled, or vice versa. I noticed our pods versions are different. I am running the latest from master.
@fastidious can you see this at your end? I am now using @<fastidious https://arrakis.netbros.com/user/fastidious/twtxt.txt> to see if you are WebMentioned.
Again, nothing is being seeing on Arrakis. Now I will use a full mention, old style, and see how it goes.
@fastidious this is the test number two. I am using the short mention to see if you see it. Next test will be to use the "old style" of mentioning to see what happens.
OK, so this was not seeing on the Arrakis pod. I will unfollow Fastidious now, and repeat this test again to see what happens.
@fastidious do you get this? I know you are not following me, but if WebMentions are working fine, you should see this. Next test is me unfollowing you as well, so we will be two complete strangers to each other.
And ordered one now:

1. Item one
1. Another
2. Another
2. Item two
1. One here
2. And two
1. Three?
3. OK, basta.
This is for @ullarah:

* Beginning of life
* Mid-life
* Continue with it
* Done
* The other part
* Life goes on
* It does?
* Yes
* Well?
* Yup
* Done.
OK, let's see if this comes out right.
Tongkat ali is "intended to improve libido, energy, sports performance and weight loss". The linked journal also states that "may be an effective approach to shielding the body from the detrimental effects of “modern” chronic stress, which may include general day-to-day stress, as well as the stress of dieting, sleep deprivation, and exercise training".

More than half of all Asian teas claim the same thing, or similar. The bottomline is exactly how you ended, "it tastes good!" :-)
@eaplmx your new avatar reminds me of the Chihuahua dog from the early 1990's Taco Bell advertisements, "Yo quiero Taco Bell". Warning, a very low rendering quality YouTube video. Yet, funny and still worth seeing. 😂

If this has an impact on ad blocking—and my quick read of it is kind of telling me it does—this has to be very worrisome to all of us. The lawsuit seeks to "dictate that the HTML language used to render a website page should be protected under copyright law—effectively making it illegal for any technology or any consumer to alter a website page appearance." Oh boy.
That’s because you have never encountered Malay pirates. They are the worse! They will take your loot, make you peel potatoes, and dump you in the sea afterwards.
I pronounce it as the spelling of each letter (you know, like t w t x t). So, I can't pronounce it super fast, but hey! 🙈
OK. I am going to pretend I didn't see you. I am moving along, nothing to see here. 😁
@fastidious, this commit to develop branch fixes the code block overlap. Already fixed on Arrakis' thanks to the custom CSS. 🥳
@eaplmx so, let me tell how how fork is to be used, before the Yarn Police comes around, and write you an infraction. A fork is used when the reply twt you are about to write goes astray from the main topic of conversation. That's it!

Now, fork can also be used when you want to reply to someone, and you want your reply leaving no doubt which twt you are replying to. This easily applies to long, to very long, yarns. If you have any questions let me know!
@eaplmx, in case you didn't know, your server, or the machine hosting your site(s) is down, or otherwise unreachable---at least from the South of the US. A heads up.
Actually, I think you just found a bug. I am bringing this to @prologic’s attention. If you are in a yarn, and click/tap the reply icon/link, it doesn’t mention the nick. It should.
@lyse very nice! I didn’t know it existed, but now I am going to use it. Do you automatically follow who follows you, and if so, do you have any automation for that?
@lyse, as a sucker for skies, and clouds, I find this one, and the others, lovely! I have so many similar images that Google, and Apple Photos are constantly recommending albums of them. :-D
I searched for what @ullarah typed and got nothing, so I assumed he sneezed, and replied with what the Germans reply when someone does. 😂
@ullarah Gesundheit! 🤣
@prologic both good questions. On the first, I will not be alive (thus the reason why I need to find that silly sledgehammer; where did I put that thing?). On the second, I highly doubt it, but see my answer to the first. :-P
@prologic is OK, is OK, we still have bacon. Hmm, pork chops and bacon, my two favourite animals!
We should just create a yarn with just this. It will make people suspicious thinking we are communicating in some secret ways. Which we are, of course.

@prologic well, if you think it is something worth having, that will not be abused, that enriches and nurtures interaction, by all means, nothing to do. Twitter will not allow it, so I guess Yarn is a step ahead of it. 🥳
@ullarah it doesn’t need to be 02, it can just be the same name as it has now, with the -override added to it. 😊
@prologic will update within a few, just waking up. Will test throughout the day and report of anything around you waking up time.
@prologic no, no, it was just fine after the Pico update. This is very recent.

I am sure @ullarah can figure it out.
@prologic how is this supposed to look? Sorry, on mobile, I don’t see anything different in particular.
@prologic it is a pine looking tree.
@prologic I am just here for the bacon. Somebody told me there will be bacon. Where is my bacon?! 🥓
@prologic it needs to be done, so that taping on the image itself closes it. No “x” on top right corner, just tap the image again to “unzoom” it.
@prologic you can. Just tap anywhere outside the image.
@prologic in a perfect scenario, and at the very list, our own nick shouldn’t be pre-filled whilst visiting our own profile. But this is a minor annoyance.
Alright then. 😜
Oh, I don't think they are burning money. It is a strategic decision. It looks like they have much more to lose if they do not take the approach they are taking.
@lyse my strong recommendation is save, invest early.
Also:

Another definition
@prologic simply select the word on iOS and pick “Look up”. This is what I get:

Definition
@lyse I found this one, on the German’s Army fire.
@prologic no worries. It is, most likely, my VPS. Catch you all end of the day tomorrow!
@prologic I didn’t. You can’t. It is encrypted. On the phone itself.

What I was pointing out was, the Health app already plots that data, and presents it in a nicely way to the user in real—or very close to—time.
And, finally:

Disk operations

The blue line is read.
And:

CPU Spike
This is happening on Arrakis:

Arrakis CPU

I can’t troubleshoot right now, taking it offline.
Yes, timeline ordering by last activity is vital for flat yarn view.
2022, year of the Linux Desktop. 😂

I used to have .* on my whitelisted domains. I removed it, and left it blank (no one is whitelisted) to no effect. Bug?
I used go have .* on my whitelisted domains. I removed it, and left it blank (no one is whitelisted) to no effect. Bug?
@prologic yes, I am on mobile web. Let me see if I can get it to show again.
@prologic “and then abuse that data in weird and interesting ways” — oh boy, indeed! I would not touch that thing with a 49’ pole. I bet he is using it because of Flash, to play shitty games. I might be mistaking.

I wouldn’t worry much about this “browser”.
@lyse dude, you are quite well rounded on skills, are you? Well done! I wouldn’t even know where to start, considering I don’t have any tools to begin with, and no carpenter knowledge whatsoever.
Yeah. Colours match now.
@prologic good. The colour of the logo seem a bit off. We are using #00bfff. Make the threads of the yarn that colour?
@prologic OK. Fonts looks OK on size. I would move “twtxt.net” a bit to the left, and the description a bit to the right.
Pretty cool! On that last one people lost all interest towards the end—I bet they got tired—and just dropped the lights on the tree. “There, that oughta do it!” 😂
@ullarah the spinner on post button looks out of place here at twtxt.net. Has @prologic updated to your 609 changes? It used to look fine in your pod, let me go check.
@ullarah I bet he is using one of those crypto mining web browsers, or an esoteric one that’s like a Swiss knife, capable to even open cans of beans and the like. 😂
Testing, testing, one, two, three. Echo, echoo, echoooo.
Funny enough, by archiving it I stopped following you 😳😬. I just added you back. Oh dear, never again playing with feeds. Ever.
Also, I would dim the domain portion, just like it is now. It stands out too much as white.
Let's wait until it goes out of rough sketch ☺️. The coloured part isn't much relevant, as we have been using the main theme colour to fill the SVG.
There is a high possibility/probability that all of us will vanish into nothingness. 😬😂
@prologic nah, I might get a bigger VPS.
I am having a dejavú:

2020-08-03T14:43:13+00:00\tHello, world

I mean, what begins as “hello” must continue as “hello”. 😂😂😂
So funny, and incomplete:

> After investigating your instance we've found the issue to be that you are running out of memory. This can be fixed by upgrading your instance or limiting the amount of memory the program(s) in question uses.

😳😳😳
@ullarah they are already converted to PNG. I think it is the resizing algorithm, but not fully sure.
@ullarah is there a way to set thinner lines for the twt options icons (edit, reply, etc.), you know thinner lines like the ones at formatting bar.

I think that would make them more passable, and we wouldn’t need to resize them smaller.
Another:

Notice “Logout”.
Furthermore, I saw inline styling in templates on the latest changes. Oh dear. Yeah, no good.

The new icons have issues on mobile. Both, the formatting bar, and those on the “hamburger”. Also the edit, delete, reply, etc.

Were the changes tested on throughly before they committed?
